MONTHLY FAVORITES: June
MOVIE: Ms. Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children
I know it’s late but it’s just recently that I was able to watch this movie. Long before this was a movie, the book had caught my attention. But because of money matters, (priorities, adult priorities), I wasn’t able to buy it. I had always thought it was a horror story (I love horror) but what it was better than I have ever imagined it would be. The story, the characters, the setting, the twist, PERFECT! I’d definitely watch it again. And oh, there is still 2 books left in the series, I’ll make sure to buy the book set before they do part 2.
GAME: Sims Freeplay
I had always loved simulation games and a friend of mine likes to share his adventures on SIMS 4 that made me interested on it as well. I found out that there is a Sims game on android so I tried to download it and man, I’m hooked. ‘Kinda irritates me when I need to wait for tasks to finish but it’s part of the game, so more patience for me.

YOUTUBER: speakeasynyc
I haven’t been on Youtube that much but I’ve only been able to watch a few videos from speakeasynyc. They post videos of Spoken Word Poetry performances, with Sarah Kay and Phil Kaye as my personal favorites. I don’t perform SWP that much but this channel inspires me to write more pieces I could perform. I’m actually planning to write my own version of Phil Kaye and Sarah Kay’s “When Love Arrives”. (Great, another line up for my pending projects. LOL.)
FOOD: Kratos Strong Coffee Single Shot
Okay, so this isn’t food. But it’s almost as good as food you don’t need food if you drink this. LOL. I’m not a fan of coffee since I easily get palpitation because of caffeine, but at times when I need to stay awake Kratos is the most reliable. I’d suggest you don’t drink two cans in a day (especially the double shot one), with one I stay awake for more than 20 hours (I’m serious). But for coffee buffs out there, this might be the best thing that had ever happened. LOL.
I am one category short for my Favorites list the month of June. Probably because this month hasn’t been eventful (it has been eventful, lots of stressful events that I don’t want to share in the blog anymore). Anyway, I’ll try to be more active for July. Until next post!
