3 Events in 1 Day: TAGCOM 2017, KAWAII PH CREATORS MARKET & STARVING FOR ART

TAGCOM 2017, KAWAII PH CREATORS MARKET & STARVING FOR ART

I only had 2 events on my itinerary for April 29 but TAGCOM: Toys and Hobbies Convention 2017 was held at SM Megatrade Hall 3 and I was supposed to leave some stuff on my office locker and give an item to a friend (Shazu Hime) who is a marshal that day so I decided to drop by as well.

Venture Space, Shaw Boulevard was just walking distance from SM Megamall where the next event on my itinerary that day Kawaii PH Creator’s Market was held so right after some chit chats with my Marshal friends at TAGCOM, I flew right away to the next event. Kawaii PH Creators Market was dedicated to local artists and crafters where they could sell their art. There are also booths that sells art/craft materials you could buy for yourself especially for those who are fond of making journals and drawing. The art works were incredible, I really admire our local artists!

My favourite part of the event was when I tried the stamping activity at Marz Today’s Booth. Her stamps are amazing! I even had one for myself.

My Kawaii PH Creators Market Haul consists of mainly bookmarks (blame me and my love of books): (Click on the pictures for the artists pages)

Unicorn Sticker from For Isabela

Stamps from Marz Today

Dango Keychain and Stickers from Millefrilly

Bookmarks from Vividbit

The third event of the day was in the evening: Starving for Art. An event where you could express yourself through your chosen art may it be singing, dancing, acting or poetry. It was held at Dito: Bahay ng Sining located at J. Molina Street, Concepcion Uno, Marikina City. To be honest, I wasn’t able to get pictures of the place as well as the other performers because I was too overwhelmed for it was my first time to perform a Spoken Word Poetry piece in front of an audience. So here is a video of my performance instead:

My heart-felt thanks to the organizers of the event, without them, I might not be able to express myself. I hope I could do a better performance the next time. I promise to visit Dito: Bahay ng Sining again some other day so I could show you how it looks like. Hehe!

Hi there!
